Wednesday

We visited a most fascinating school today, Seoul Foreign School. It is amazing, but them again, parents have to spend $25,000 just to send their kids there!
Today we also went to the Korean National Folk Museum and saw many of their cultural crafts. The Koreans have a history of being excellent knot-tiers, as in macrame. The work is beautiful. This afternoon we went to the Korean War Memorial. What a sobering site, as war memorials often are.
Tomorrow we go to the DMZ, which is the area between communist North Korea and free South Korea. We have been told that the security if very strict. We even have to bring our passports with us! (Passports are serious business!)
Speaking of serious business. . .third period, are you being smart and making intelligent choices?
Well, since we are exactly 12 hours ahead of you, its late. Thanks for all the questions from Ms. Boria's. I hope to get to them soon. Or else we'll just have to have a big discussion when I get back.
